Contractors Help Brampton (Ontario) Family

Over 30 contractors pitched in to help a family renovate their home to make it Accessible for their father, who has multiple sclerosis. Ashley Rowe of CTV reports.

This all came about when the father asked for renovation tips and mentioned his situation on the HomeStars web site. Read article at HomeStars

One of the contractors helping is Betty of “All Women Contractors” who as a CARAHS member used the knowledge obtained through the CARAHS Accessible Contractors (certificate) course.

We’d also like to thank another CARAHS member in Paul Hannah, The Duct Cleaning Specialists and HomeStars member, along with everyone else who offered free services, materials and who volunteered to help in this build. We take our hat off to you all, you are amazing and caring contractors.
